Sometimes, no matter how hard we try, we fail. We fail to have patience with a loved one in their time of need. We fail to put God first in a busy season. We fail to wait on God’s promises. Sometimes, we don’t even know if what we are waiting for is even a true promise for our lives.Â
Lovers of Christ, do not fret. He is near.
I do not know what you are facing. I do not know how you have failed. I do know that we have a powerful God that can handle it. Receive His encouragement to continue until the day of Christ Jesus.
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
Philippians 1:6 ESV
I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
John 15:5 ESV
Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions.
Psalm 51:1 ESV
Meditate on these few scriptures and remember what Isaiah 41:10 says: “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10, ESV).
