Where is God leading you to go and what’s stopping you from going?
God has told you to go. Where? No idea. How to get there? Not quite sure. All you know is that you have to take action in faith.
I was inspired by reading about Saint Patrick from a delightful children’s book. There’s more to his story than just his death on March 17th. After being in slavery a number of years, he received the dream of leaving that bondage and returning home. But did Patrick wait on the pastures and just wait for the boat to pull up?
No! He went to where the boats are.
Such a simple concept but it struck me as an amazing move of God. Because when Patrick stole away and arrived at the shore a boat was there waiting for him. But when he asked to come he heard no. The other crew members said yes he could come.
This got me thinking “what if?” There is a point where we know the point A and we know God’s point B. We expect B to come to A. What a miracle for the boat to arrive at Patrick’s front door, right? Maybe but God will hold our hand as we travel.
Even more, God loves to work with our faith.
As a Christian entrepreneur who feels stuck or waiting for clarity or the perfect opportunity to come out of the blue, I encourage you to get up and go. Like Patrick you may have somewhere you need to go. To that potential client’s email inbox, the networking event or even social media. But whether it’s online or offline, you have to just go.

3 Powerful Questions for Your Transition
- Identify the Shore: What’s the next step God is leading you to? It might not be the full picture, but it’s the direction to move in.
- Look for the Boat: What resources, opportunities, or connections has God placed in your path? Sometimes, the provision is already there, but you need to recognize it.
- Trust the Journey: Business transitions require faith. Take the step even if you don’t see the whole plan.
You don’t have to have it all figured out—just get up, go to the shore, and trust that the boat will be there when you arrive.
Lord, I thank you for being the Light. Your Word says
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Father, please make my paths straight. Help me to trust you with all my heart and keep my eye on You above all else.
Amen.
